Notes: Christmas Cactus is a long living container plant that thrives in Florida. It is best placed on a sheltered porch or lanai and protected from freezing. Keep plants in a dark area (no artificial light) in the fall to encourage blooming. Once it starts to bloom, move to a regular location. It will bloom from about December to February in either red or pink shades of flowers.
