Notes: This remarkable plant has foliage that is more colorful than many flowers! Commonly called ‘Jacobs Coat’ this semi-tropical plant makes a wonderful container plant around the pool, deck or patio. Pinch leaf tips to promote fullness. Can be cut back to maintain size. Fast grower. Will grow in shady areas – but the more sun, the more color! If damaged during frosts and freeze normally comes back from the roots in spring. Plant in enriched soil and fertilize spring and summer with slow release fertilizer.
