Notes: A compact little shrub that packs a punch of color virtually year round. Pretty little flowers are surrounded by green leaves suspended on stems that are extremely thorny. The most common colors are shades of red, pink, and yellow. Slow growing and extremely salt tolerant, crown of thorns works extremely well in those hot, salty areas. Good drainage is necessary for this plant. Also makes a great low maintenance container plant. Protect from freezes!
