Notes: Needle palms are rugged cold hardy palms that are fast growing. It is a shrubby fan palm that produces suckers that allow it to spread. Prefers fairly moist, well drained soil however can survive in wet areas around water and pools. Once established, though, very drought tolerant. Can be used for security hedging if desired.
