Notes: A very popular type of fig for Florida. Especially tasty, pear shaped deep purple fruit produced late summer to fall. Attractive garden tree or large shrub with bold branching structure that has an interesting appearance when dormant in winter. Fast grower that needs light annual pruning to shape to prevent the plant from becoming leggy. An easy fruit to grow, but always tends to have a little RUST on the leaves.
