Notes: The attractive little European Fan Palm has become very popular in the recent years, mostly due to its cold hardiness. Extremely slow growing palm often used in the landscape as a stand alone specimen. Mature size make take several decades. Mature multi-trunked European Fan palms are an extrodinary specimen. Suckers will form at the bottom of the trunk that can either be trained to be come a multi-trunked palm, or removed to have more of a stand alone trunk. Cold hardy and drought tolerant once established. Fertilize with Palm Fertilizer 2-3 times per year.
