Plant of the Week: Stromanthe Tristar

Stromanthe Triostar is a beautiful semi-tropical foliage plant that will brighten up any shady portion of your garden. It is a striking specimen with a beautiful coloration of creams, greens, pinks and reds. It prefers part shade to shade but tolerates morning sun or filtered sun. Stromanthe prefers the soil to be lightly moist as leaves will curl if it becomes too dry.

Stromanthe grows about 2-3 feet tall and wide however will not do well in salty areas as it has poor salt tolerance. Deer do not usually bother it.
