Nandina Firepower
Nandina domestica ‘Firepower’

Height: 18” – 24” Spread: 18” – 24”
Zone: 6 – 9 Salt Tolerance: Poor
Light: Full Sun Deer: Usually Not

Nandina ‘Firepower’ is a dwarf, bushy plant with lime green leaves in the spring, turning darker green in the summer and then turning a brilliant red and orange in the fall and winter. The colder it gets the more beautiful the color of the leaves becomes on this plant! This plant doesn’t have any fruit or flowers it is used in the landscape for its magnificent color. An excellent choice for foundation plantings or planting beds where smaller choices are needed. Mass planting in front of higher plants makes a stunning display. Easy care once this plant becomes established. Plant in well drained soil in a sunny location and fertilize in the spring, summer, and fall with slow release granular.
