Daylilies

Height: 12″
Spread: 12″ – 24″
Zone: 2 – 10
Salt: Moderate
Light: Full sun
Deer: Yes
Flower: Many colors to choose from
Notes: Daylilies are sturdy perennials that provide a brilliant display of blossoms for much of the growing season. Large, lily-shaped flowers are produced on long stems projecting above the clumps of narrow, pale green foliage. Though often used as an edging or mixed into borders, Daylily is also well-suited to groundcover use where its arching , spreading habit will quickly fill in an area. Roots of Daylily grab onto the soil, making it an ideal candidate for erosion control on slopes and banks. Plant 12 – 18 inches on centers. Every 3-5 years clumps can be divided for more plants. Fertilize 2-3 times with slow release bloomer.
