Agapanthus praecox ssp. orientalis

- Height: 3′ – 4′
- Spread: 3′ – 4′
- Zone: 9 – 10
- Salt: Good
- Light: Full Sun / Part Shade
- Deer: Usually Not
- Flower: Blue / Purple
Notes: Outstanding plant in the landscape! With long dark green strappy leaves and tall blue clusters of flowers towering above the plant on long stems the agapanthus adds not only beauty but a new texture to the garden. Agapanthus grows best in shade or dappled light, but will tolerate full sun. Whether used as a border, foundation planting, massed beds or specimen, you’ll love the blooms that you can use as cut flowers or to dry. Enrich the planting hole with landscape soil and mushroom compost. Fertilize Spring and Summer with slow release bloomer.
